International Club

Open to both U.S. and international students.
The International Club (IC) educates and promotes global understanding through learning about different cultures, having fun, and organizing international programs, events, and activities. The IC is open to both international and U.S. students.
The purpose of the International Club is to support the mission statement of UW-Platteville by:
1) Bringing together a diverse group of students and providing opportunities to the students, staff and faculty of the university of Wisconsin-Platteville, and residents of Platteville and the surrounding communities to acquaint themselves with each other’s social, cultural, economic, political values, background and conditions.
2) Broadening the perspective of students involved by organizing programs that enhance cultural understanding.
3) Giving students the opportunity to develop leadership skills, work in intercultural groups, and gain experience in event planning.
